Access Holdings Plc has secured an extension from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) to publish its interim audited financial statements for the half-year ended June 30, 2026. The filing deadline has been moved to September 30, 2026, subject to obtaining required approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), as disclosed in an NGX corporate filing on Monday, August 17, 2026.

This follows Access Holdings' strong Q1 2026 performance where pre-tax profit rose 22.19% year-on-year to N272.21 billion. The extension means investors must wait longer for audited confirmation of H1 results, with the Group's Closed Period remaining in effect - restricting insider trading until 24 hours after results publication. The delay mirrors similar circumstances in 2025 when CBN approval was also needed for H1 reporting.

Investors will now monitor for CBN approval clearance before the September 30 deadline. The eventual H1 results will be closely watched for insights on earnings quality, capital efficiency, asset quality and impairment levels as Access Holdings transitions from aggressive expansion to sustainable returns. Access Holdings shares closed at N26.80 on August 17, down 0.9% from previous close, though up 27.6% year-to-date.
