Action Alliance (AA) National Chairman Kenneth Udeze condemns the Atiku-Amaechi Movement for circulating membership cards using the "AA" abbreviation, calling it identity theft and electoral fraud. The INEC-registered party says "AA" is its exclusive, constitutionally recognized acronym and has no affiliation with the movement linked to former VP Atiku Abubakar and ex-Rivers governor Rotimi Amaechi.

Udeze demands the group immediately cease using "AA" and has petitioned INEC and security agencies to act against what he terms deceptive impersonation aimed at confusing voters ahead of 2027 elections. The party threatens legal action to protect its name and logo.

With 2027 elections approaching, abbreviation disputes could mislead voters on ballot papers. INEC's response will test electoral integrity as political realignments accelerate.

Will INEC enforce acronym exclusivity, or will voter confusion become another 2027 flashpoint?
