Dismissing speculation about endorsing a particular governorship aspirant ahead of the 2027 elections, Fintiri declared that the decision lies solely in the hands of the electorate. No one will decide for them,” the governor said, reiterating that he is not throwing his weight behind any individual seeking his office. He encouraged all aspirants to return to the grassroots and earn their mandate through genuine engagement. “Democratic leadership cannot be imposed but must be freely given by the citizens,” he said, further assuring party members and governorship aspirants of a fair process.
