INEC should do the honourable thing by putting his name as the authentic National Chairman of the ADC, nothing more.” The protest began in the early hours of Thursday as supporters of the Bala-led faction stormed the streets of Abuja, calling on opposition leaders former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and former Senate President David Mark to stay away from the ADC. The demonstration was led by Bala, who accused the political figures of attempting to hijack the party. Bala was joined at the protest by Abejide and other supporters. The development comes just 24 hours after another protest led by the David Mark faction of the ADC took place at the INEC office on Wednesday.
