Abdullahi dismissed claims that the party is being groomed for Atiku's ambition, stating that such claims are unfounded and driven by a lack of understanding of the party's internal structure. The ADC spokesperson alleged that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is behind the speculation, attempting to interfere in the ADC's internal affairs. With the 2027 elections approaching, the ADC has reaffirmed its commitment to a collective ownership principle, welcoming influential politicians from different backgrounds.
