ADC-PCC says Tinubu took Nigerians for a joke, backs Atiku for 2027
ADC-PCC Director of Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, accused President Bola Tinubu of taking Nigerians for a joke, stating that a president who fears facing voters has no business seeking re-election. He pointed out that former presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari campaigned nationwide while in office, and argued that official duties should not prevent Tinubu from doing the same.
Ologbondiyan blamed the Tinubu administration for widespread anger over hunger, poverty, insecurity and economic hardship, saying the average Nigerian struggles to eat and stay safe. He urged young Nigerians to reject the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections, warning another APC term would prolong the nation’s difficulties. He declared that ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar is ready to campaign across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, promising an Atiku-led government would reinstate fuel subsidies, create wealth, end hunger, improve national security and restore the battered economy.
Given these allegations, what should you consider about Tinubu’s record and the opposition’s promises as you think about your vote in 2027?
