ADC postpones presidential primary result collation to 8pm Wednesday to allow Muslim members celebrate Eid-el-Kabir and address flight challenges for returning officers. The African Democratic Congress put on hold result collation of its presidential primary election held nationwide on Monday.

According to Chairman of the Presidential Primary Election Committee Chief Ikechi Emenike, 24 states including the FCT have announced their results, with 12 states remaining. The states with results are Borno, Kebbi, Anambra, Abia, Ekiti, Ondo, Gombe, Oyo, Imo, Yobe, Nasarawa, Enugu, Benue, Osun, Adamawa, Kano, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, Niger, Plateau, Sokoto, Taraba, Zamfara and the FCT.

This delay creates uncertainty in ADC's political calendar as stakeholders await the final results. The postponement comes despite 24 states having already submitted their outcomes, leaving the party's presidential candidate selection incomplete at a critical juncture.

Will this delay affect ADC's campaign strategy, or does the accommodation of religious holidays demonstrate inclusive leadership?
