Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede marked his 60th birthday with a LinkedIn post in which he thanked God for life, grace, family, friendship and the privilege of purpose. He said receiving the milestone filled him with profound gratitude and highlighted a lifelong calling to build institutions, people and opportunities to help build a stronger Africa.

The former Access Bank CEO and Coronation Group chairman noted that whatever he has achieved was made possible by extraordinary people - his wife Ofovwe, their children, family, friends, colleagues, partners and mentors who challenged and supported him. He paid special tribute to his mother, Pastor Emily, and his close friend Herbert, whose memories remain part of his journey. Reflecting on his 50th birthday, when he described himself as "God's Work in Progress", he said that description still holds true a decade later: "The building continues".

Looking ahead, Aig-Imoukhuede prayed for grace, wisdom and strength to build more intentionally and generously, aiming to leave behind stronger institutions, wider opportunities and transformed lives. He framed his 60th not as an end but as the start of another decade of purposeful service and impact.

His conclusion - "Sixty years. Deeply thankful. Still building. To God be all the glory" - reinforces that the work of building is far from complete and invites others to consider how they, too, can contribute to lasting change.
