Aisha Yesufu vowed Thursday to monitor every ballot in Nigeria's 2027 presidential election from polling units through ward collation centers, LGAs, state offices, and all the way to Abuja to prevent rigging. Speaking on Channels Television's Politics Today, she said lessons from the 2023 polls showed 'there would be no more rigging' as she drew a battle line for vote tracking using bikes, boats, or air transport—adding that if officials used private jets, trackers would employ alternative private jets to follow them.
The human rights activist emphasized that no ballot paper, box, result sheet, or individual would escape observation throughout the entire electoral process.
