The Society noted that such a move would ensure that ongoing and future projects meet international standards. The Society expressed confidence that with sustained commitment, Akwa Ibom State would emerge as a leading hub for tourism and solid minerals investment in Nigeria. Speaking while conducting the team round the park, Mrs Emaekop Eduok, an Assistant Chief Geologist in the Ministry of Works, described the Arise Palm Resort as a project that reflects a forward thinking approach to harnessing natural and environmental assets for sustainable economic growth.
