APC Faces Farmer Backlash if Shettima Replaced - Millet Association
National President of the Millet Farmers Association, Umar Abdullahi, warns President Tinubu and APC will face problems if Vice President Kashim Shettima is replaced in 2027. Speaking to Trust TV, Abdullahi stated farmers have high expectations for Shettima's continued role, citing his successful representation of Nigeria abroad and loyalty. He emphasized there's no basis for replacement, warning APC will lose farmer support if Shettima is removed, particularly due to the Muslim/Muslim ticket that secured their votes. "APC and President Tinubu will have problems because a lot of farmers will not vote for the APC," Abdullahi said, adding there's no evidence of Shettima's wrongdoing.
