Former Alliance for Democracy National Secretary Prof Udenta Udenta says APC's push for a one-party state will collapse. Speaking on Arise Television Tuesday, Udenta argued that ruling party will shrink after its primaries while opposition absorbs its fragments.

"The flatulence of the APC is over gurgling. It is already happening in Rivers State, which is a sign post for systemic disorder within the party's administrative infrastructure," he stated. "A multinational, heterogeneous, diverse country will resist the emblem of a one party state. Any attempt by the APC to accomplish this in the past two and a half years will fade."

Udenta highlighted how opposition platforms have strengthened, noting ADC's transformation from insignificance to relevance through Southeast movements and Obidient supporters backing Peter Obi. "Politicians are ghosts. They meander around," he said, predicting political realignment.

Is this about APC's internal weaknesses finally showing, or can the party actually consolidate power despite diverse opposition?
