The development was revealed in a post shared on X on Friday by security analyst, Zagazola Makama. However, the attackers fled the scene when they sighted the advancing troops, abandoning their victims. The soldiers then moved in to secure the area, rescued the occupants of the vehicle, and ensured their safety. Sources added that troops have continued to patrol and dominate the route to protect commuters and prevent further attacks in the area.
