Arteta credits risks as Arsenal edge Nottingham Forest 1-0 to stay second

Arsenal beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 in a Premier League match on Sunday, with substitute Noni Madueke scoring the only goal after cutting inside and firing a shot that took a deflection. Manager Mikel Arteta said the team had to take risks to break down a well-coached Forest side, managed the emotional side of the game well, and praised the finishers for making a huge impact. The win keeps Arsenal in second place, three points behind league leaders Manchester City, who have not dropped a point all season.

For Nigerian fans who follow the EPL, the result shows Arsenal's resilience in tight games and keeps them in the title race, though it also highlights a reliance on late goals and risky tactics to secure victories. Forest's disciplined defensive approach made it difficult for Arsenal to create clear chances throughout most of the match.

Arteta's comments suggest the squad will continue to prioritize mental composure and clinical finishing in upcoming fixtures. Will you view this narrow win as a sign of Arsenal's championship mentality, or do you worry that depending on late, risky goals could cost points in tougher encounters ahead?
