BBNaija S11 housemates Abi and Araga evicted in Week 7 live show
BBNaija Season 11 housemates Abisola “Abi” Ayoola and Oluwaseyifunmi “Araga” Sosanya were evicted during the Week 7 live eviction show hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Sunday. This follows the earlier disqualification of Whitney “Nomy” Chukwu, who was removed on 7 September for repeatedly violating Big Brother’s rules while serving as Benchwarmer. Abi, 25, a model and chef from Osun State and Lagos, had won Head of House in Weeks 4 and 6, becoming the first female housemate to secure the role twice this season, and was named Most Influential Player after Week 4. Araga, 29, a fashion model from Ogun State, was also a notable presence, particularly for his relationship with previously evicted housemate Goddessa.
Their exits reduce the house to 14 housemates competing for the ₦160 million grand prize—the largest in Nigerian reality TV history. The eviction resulted from a nomination twist in Week 7 where housemates searched for 14 red envelopes; Keivo found the immunity card, and Head of House Tram used his veto to confirm Keivo’s safety, leaving the others open to public vote. Earlier that week, Tram won his first Head of House challenge, with Flora joining him in the loft, while the house lost its weekly wager and Keivo won Friday’s Arena Games.
With 14 contenders remaining, fans can continue voting to keep their favorites alive. The show, themed “Show Ya Sef”, premiered on 26 July. Will you shift your support to any of the remaining housemates, and how do you think their strategies will change now that Abi and Araga are gone?
