Blessing CEO loses second son while in prison over fraud allegations
Controversial self-acclaimed relationship expert Blessing Okoro, known as Blessing CEO, has lost her second son, Bryan, while detained in Kirikiri Prison. She was remanded in September 2026 over an alleged N69.15 million property fraud case and granted N20 million bail in July 2026, with two sureties required to show three years’ proof of deposits worth N20 million each. Unable to meet these conditions, she remains in custody.
The loss was confirmed on Friday evening by Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Love Foundation, who shared a voice note from Blessing CEO describing Bryan as "full of life" and expressing hope to leave prison, pick up the pieces of her life and pay respects. Agiye appealed for public donations, stating Blessing CEO needs N20 million to meet bail requirements and an additional N36 million to settle debts to those who brought the case against her. She urged Nigerians to forgive her for the sake of the boy still in the mortuary.
The case raises questions about compassion, legal processes, and the impact of incarceration on families. Will you consider contributing to the appeal, reflect on the role of forgiveness in such situations, or view this as a reminder of the human cost behind legal controversies?
