Blord returned to Kuje prison after failing to meet bail conditions
Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, known as Blord, was granted bail from Kuje prison on Friday after spending at least two weeks in custody over alleged impersonation of VeryDarkMan (VDM). However, Blord was returned to prison on Saturday after failing to fulfill the court's bail conditions. According to VDM, who shared the update on his official Facebook page, Blord was unable to submit his international passport as required by the judge. The passport couldn't be obtained from Anambra State on time, resulting in his return to custody until he meets all conditions. The legal dispute between Blord and VDM began with allegations of impersonation, and while Sowore had intervened to facilitate a settlement, the bail conditions remain a barrier to Blord's freedom. With the passport issue now delaying his release, Blord will remain in Kuje prison at least until he can successfully complete the bail requirements. This case highlights the practical challenges defendants face in meeting specific bail conditions, especially when documents need to be sourced from different states within tight timeframes.
