BRB Capital Appoints Etimbuk Bassey as CEO
BRB Capital Group has appointed Etimbuk Bassey as Chief Executive Officer effective 16 February 2026. Bassey brings over two decades of experience across fintech, venture capital and corporate finance, including leadership roles at Flutterwave and Budpay. He has overseen more than US$5 billion in transactions and led teams across Africa and the UK. Bassey emphasized scaling BRB Capital with discipline, strengthening governance, and delivering world-class outcomes for clients. The appointment supports BRB's strategy to build a globally competitive, Africa-originated investment institution focused on cross-border origination, capital access and institutional partnerships.
