Bursaspor Coach Praises Iheanacho's 12 Goals in 9 Games, Hails Impact

Bursaspor head coach Mustafa Er has praised striker Kelechi Iheanacho after the Nigeria international scored 12 goals and provided two assists in just nine league appearances since joining the Green Crocodiles on a free transfer this summer. Er said the club worked hard to secure Iheanacho's services and is now getting the contribution they wanted.

For Nigerian fans abroad, Iheanacho's rapid adaptation shows that a home‑grown talent can thrive in Turkish football, boosting hopes for his Super Eagles recall and increasing his market value. His goal‑scoring pace also fuels Bursaspor's push for promotion to the top tier, which could secure him regular high‑level competition.

The coach emphasized that the transfer was driven by demand for Iheanacho's abilities and the club's stature played a role in his decision. Bursaspor fans can expect him to remain a key attacking option as the season progresses.

With Iheanacho firing on all cylinders, will his form earn him a recall to the Super Eagles or attract interest from bigger European clubs?
