Cardi B and Maduka Okoye spotted together in Milan, sparking dating rumors
Cardi B and Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye were seen together on Tuesday during Milan Fashion Week, reigniting dating rumors after several public appearances since July. Okoye, who plays for Serie A club Udinese, was in Milan representing the club at an event where he modelled its new third kit, while Cardi B walked the Vogue World Milano runway in a vintage Versace Spring/Summer 2018 dress. Videos online showed the pair spending time together.
The sighting occurred as Okoye had not yet joined the Super Eagles camp, where Nigeria began preparations for its 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures; reports said he was expected to join the squad afterwards. Their public history includes sitting beside each other at Paris Couture Week’s Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show, helping her to her seat, a July dinner in Venice at Gio's restaurant in the St. Regis, and an early September outing around Udine, where Okoye is based.
Neither Cardi B nor Okoye has confirmed a romantic relationship. In a Vogue Arabia interview in August, Cardi B described Okoye as "really sweet," noting that despite his stern social media image, he is very kind, and said she hopes fans will see more of him.
Okoye, 27, is a German-born Nigerian goalkeeper who started his career in Germany, played in the Netherlands and England, and joined Udinese in 2023. He has also drawn attention for his interest in fashion and appearances at major fashion events.
