Barcelona have decided not to trigger the £26 million option to sign Marcus Rashford permanently, sending the 28-year-old England forward back to Manchester United after his loan spell at Barca, where he scored 14 goals and helped Hansi Flick’s side win La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup. Rashford’s future at Old Trafford looks uncertain despite Michael Carrick’s recent appointment as permanent head coach, prompting his agents to explore alternatives.

Chelsea have not ruled out a move for Rashford and may make an official approach later in the summer, but only if their pursuits of other targets fail—and even then, they would only consider a loan arrangement. Arsenal, Aston Villa and Tottenham have also been linked with the forward as Xabi Alonso prepares to take over as Chelsea’s new manager.

With the Blues set to reshape their squad under Alonso, would you welcome Rashford on a temporary deal, or would you prefer the club focus on securing other transfer priorities first?
