CISLAC Head Auwal Rafsanjani Wins Transparency International Amalia Award
Auwal Rafsanjani, Executive Director of the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) and head of Transparency International Nigeria, received the Transparency International Amalia Award for Individual Professional Excellence on 1 July 2026 at the TI Summit 2026. The award, named after the late Amalia Kostanyan of TI Armenia, honours outstanding leadership, innovation and dedication to transparency, accountability and anti-corruption work worldwide.
The honour highlights Rafsanjani's sustained leadership in strengthening evidence-based policy advocacy, public accountability, fiscal transparency, electoral integrity and regional collaboration through CISLAC and TI Nigeria. Under his stewardship, TI Nigeria has become a more visible and influential voice in the global Transparency International movement, regularly contributing to international conferences and policy discussions.
