He said this was part of proactive policing efforts but that these should be intensified as the Easter festivities continue in parts of the state. In a statement signed by ASP Eitokpah Sunday Akata, the PRO of the state command, Afegbua emphasized the importance of public cooperation. He urged residents to provide timely and credible information to security agencies to enhance effective policing. The Command reiterates its commitment to maintaining law and order and warns that it will not hesitate to take decisive action against any individual or group attempting to disrupt public peace during the festive period. The statement further said, “The Commissioner of Police stated that comprehensive operational strategies have been put in place to ensure the safety of residents and visitors before, during, and after the Easter festivities.
