Dangote Refinery IPO launches Sept 14 at N525, eyes N10k share price
Dangote Refinery’s IPO is set to launch on September 14, 2026, with shares priced at N525 each. Aliko Dangote said the share price could rise to N10,000, representing a 1,804.76 percent increase. He noted that an investment of N5 million at the IPO price could grow to over N50 million, yielding roughly N45 million in profit if the projection materialises. The refinery, which began operations in May 2023, reported revenue of N19.47 trillion and profit after tax of N2.55 trillion in the first half of 2026. Dangote emphasised that small-scale investors will receive priority in the allocation of shares ahead of larger investors. The IPO will be listed on the Nigerian stock market, and interested investors can purchase shares through authorised stockbrokers or online trading platforms once the offer opens. While the projected returns are attractive, market performance depends on numerous factors, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Investors should consider their risk tolerance and conduct due diligence before committing funds to the offer.
