De Bruyne denies summer Napoli exit rumors, confirms holiday return

Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne denied wanting to leave the club during the summer transfer window, stating he only enjoyed his holidays before returning to Naples. He made these comments during a Belgium national team press conference on Tuesday, addressing rumors linking him away from Serie A amid reported dissatisfaction under former manager Antonio Conte last season. De Bruyne joined Napoli on a free transfer from Manchester City last year and affirmed he never discussed exiting with anyone.

This clarification matters for Nigerian fans following his Napoli stint after the high-profile Man City move, as it addresses commitment concerns that could affect his performance and the team's midfield stability this season. His continued presence at Napoli impacts Serie A title races and European qualification hopes, relevant for fans tracking fantasy leagues or match expectations.

With De Bruyne now focused on international duty with Belgium, Napoli fans can expect him to integrate fully into Antonio Conte's successor's plans. Does this confirmation change your expectations for his Napoli performance this season, or do you believe other factors will dictate his impact at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona?
