Dele-Bashiru has signed a three-year contract with Greek Super League side Aris FC, leaving English Championship club Watford. The 27-year-old midfielder spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Turkish Super Lig club Gençlerbirliği, where he made 30 appearances across all competitions. He began his career at Manchester City, making his professional debut in an EFL Cup match in 2017, before joining Watford in 2019. During his time with the Hornets, he scored eight goals and provided four assists in 81 appearances. Internationally, Dele-Bashiru represented England at under-16 level before switching allegiance to Nigeria, featuring for the Flying Eagles at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup and scoring once in the tournament.

His move to Aris FC highlights the continued export of Nigerian talent to European leagues and could strengthen his case for a recall to the Super Eagles midfield. Fans can now follow his performances in Greece, where Aris FC plays home matches at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium in Thessaloniki. The transfer also underscores the growing interest in Nigerian players from clubs across different European leagues.
