Dele Momodu dismisses anti-Obi claims, reaffirms support for Peter Obi

ADC chieftain Dele Momodu has rejected accusations of opposing Peter Obi, stating he consistently backed the former Anambra governor. Responding to an X user's demand for him to purge anti-Obi sentiments, Momodu cited his early support when Atiku Abubakar selected Obi as running mate. He dismissed suggestions of a rift between Obi and Atiku, emphasizing their mutual respect in private and public. Momodu wrote: 'I can never be anti-Obi. The first time I supported Obi when Atiku picked him as running mate.' The exchange follows a previous call for Atiku's associate Bode George to purge anti-Atiku sentiments.
