Dettol Cool Launches #OwnTheSweat2.0 Campaign in Major Cities
Sponsored content: Dettol Cool, a hygiene brand, has launched the second edition of its #OwnTheSweat campaign to encourage active living and hygiene across Nigeria. The campaign will run for two months with pop-up events in gyms located in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, and Port Harcourt, along with school activations called Cool School Pop-up.
The initiative targets Nigerians who sweat daily due to commuting and temperatures between 25°C to 35°C. Dettol Cool soap is promoted as offering 99% germ protection, a cooling effect that lowers skin temperature by up to 5°C, and long-lasting odour defence. Gym events will feature fitness challenges and games to reinforce the brand's link to active lifestyles.
Marketing Director for Reckitt West Africa, Boma Harrison, stated the first edition's success showed Nigerians with active lifestyles embrace the product's cooling confidence. The campaign aims to expand reach through gyms and schools to promote movement and protection.
