Briefing the DIG, State Police Commissioner, Audu Garba Bosso, highlighted the Command’s ongoing operational efforts in combating violent crime and maintaining discipline within the ranks. He reaffirmed the Command’s zero tolerance for extortion, corruption, and human rights violations, noting that seven personnel were recently dismissed for acts of misconduct bordering on violation of citizens’ rights, in line with extant disciplinary procedures. CP Bosso reaffirmed the Command’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property and continues to urge members of the public to support policing efforts by providing timely and credible information through approved communication channels and emergency lines.
