Discrimination Between Full Time And Contract Staff In Nigeria Banking Sector

I have a brother that work in one of the top commercial bank as a contract staff.

He always tell me about the discrimination going on in the banking sector and he works at the head office and not the branch office .

No 13th month salary, no bonus, no leave allowance for them while the full time staff enjoy all these benefits plus more.

But what surprised me mostly was that a TGIF party was organized recently by the bank and their was a segregation of contract and full time staff food.

Contract Staff are only entitled to small chops and water while the full time get food and drinks.

Why would this kind of thing continue to happen even when the HR can't advise management to the right thing? Imagine you serving staffs two different menu working in the same organization.

I would never blame anybody that japa to seek greener pasture abroad since your contribution is not valued and our useless union leaders will never talk about this kind of issue as they only cry to FG for minimum wage.
