Durosinmi Ties Knot After International Duty
Nigerian international striker Rafiu Durosinmi celebrated a major personal milestone over the weekend, marrying his Belgian-Nigerian partner Praise Nwanegbo shortly after representing the Super Eagles during the June international break. The wedding came after he excused himself from Nigeria's camp following the entertaining 2-2 draw against Poland in Warsaw last Wednesday. Durosinmi's involvement exceeded initial expectations - originally called up for the 2026 Unity Cup in London, he remained with the squad after key players like Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman withdrew. The 21-year-old made his senior international debut against Zimbabwe and started in the Unity Cup final against Jamaica, where Nigeria retained their title with a 3-0 victory. Durosinmi featured for 45 minutes against Poland, earning his third cap with the national team.
