According to the command, operatives will provide adequate security at worship centres, recreational centres, major highways, markets, and other critical public spaces. Abayomi, who also added that Police Mobile Force and State Intelligence operatives are also on the ground to carry out both covert and overt operations against emerging security threats, appealed to residents to be vigilant and promptly report actionable intel. “Residents are encouraged to go about their lawful activities, attend places of worship, travel, and participate in social gatherings with confidence, knowing that adequate security coverage has been assured,” the PPRO stated.
