Ekeh pledges ₦10B for 1,000 Computer Science scholarships
Leo StanEkeh, through his foundation and Zinox Group, is funding 1,000 scholarships for Nigerian students from low-income families to study Computer Science at federal universities. The ₦10 billion initiative provides year-one mentoring and no bonding, aiming to create globally competitive tech leaders and strengthen Nigeria's tech independence. Scholarships begin September 2026, with selection based on merit and need. Ekeh, 70, sees this as his spiritual mandate to address Nigeria's tech skills gap and position the country as a tech leader.
