Emmanuel Obasi revives Judy Austin-Yul Edochie marriage allegations, claims relationship began before 2022
Emmanuel Obasi, ex-husband of actress Judy Austin, reignited controversy by alleging on "The Honest Bunch Podcast" that Austin left him for Yul Edochie due to their relationship starting before it became public in 2022. Obasi claimed he has four pieces of evidence showing they dated under his roof, saying Austin would praise Yul while watching TV together and claimed Yul promised to be their family friend for financial help—which he rejected.
Austin responded via Instagram video Tuesday, denying any relationship with Yul while married to Obasi and stating she first met the actor in 2016 on a movie set—three years after her marriage ended. She called Obasi's claims lies, noted Sylvester Madu can attest to her lack of early acting interest, and declared: "You didn't give me my name, and you won't be able to destroy it," announcing plans to sue him for allegedly being paid to destroy her name.
The feud resurfaced shortly after appearing to fade, following Yul Edochie's 2022 announcement of Austin as his second wife during marital strife with his first wife, May. Austin insists the legal system will resolve the dispute where she must defend her claims beyond reasonable doubt, emphasizing that Obasi has been lying since 2022 based on his previous videos.
