Ex-pension boss Abdulrasheed Maina collapses in Abuja

Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), collapsed near his Abuja office on Tuesday. The incident occurred after he lost balance on a staircase due to complications from an untreated knee injury, hitting his head. Medical personnel administered first aid before transporting him to a private hospital for observation. Doctors advised considering air ambulance evacuation if his condition doesn't stabilize. Maina was recently released from Kuje Correctional Centre after serving a jail sentence for pension-related fraud involving N2 billion. His family requests prayers and privacy during this critical time.
