Fabregas dismisses Chelsea job speculation, focuses on Como
Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has ruled himself out of the vacant managerial job at Stamford Bridge, insisting he is focused on his current role with Italian Serie A side Como. The 38-year-old broke his silence on Friday after Como president Mirwan Suwarso said he wouldn't stand in Fabregas's way if he wanted to return to Chelsea. 'Nothing to say about that, it'd be stupid to think about that now — my focus is on the next game against Genoa,' Fabregas stated, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano. 'I believe I will continue my chapter as Como head coach. Focus on the next games.' Chelsea sacked Liam Rosenior earlier and appointed Calum McFarlane as temporary manager until the end of the season while searching for a permanent successor. The west London club has been linked with several candidates for the managerial position following Rosenior's departure.
