FCSC Head of Press Ibraheem Zakariyya warned Nigerians on Friday that genuine federal civil service recruitment never occurs through private agents, middlemen, or social media links, stressing that fraudsters fake the commission's name and logo to deceive job seekers. Official vacancies are advertised exclusively in three national newspapers and on FCSC's website with clear application deadlines, per Public Service Rules 2021.
Applicants must never pay money for forms, shortlisting, or appointment letters—any such demand is fraudulent. Where online applications are required, use only links from official FCSC announcements, not unsolicited messages. False documents risk disqualification under commission rules.
