Federal High Court Judges Posted Nationwide for 2027 Election Cases

Chief Judge of Federal High Court, Justice John Terhemba Tsoho, approved new postings for judges across Nigeria, following the appointment of 14 new judges and reposting of three existing judges. The judges are to report to their new stations on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Justice Hassan Dikko moves to Gusau, Zamfara; Justice Sulaiman Amida Hassan to Osogbo, Osun; Justice Muhammad Barau Saidu to Minna, Niger; Justice Igboko Chinelo Conchita to Akure, Ondo; Justice Onuegbu Chioma Angela to Yenagoa, Bayelsa; Justice Galumje Edingah to Abakaliki, Ebonyi; and Justice Ibrahim Vera Eneabo to Gombe. Other postings include Justice Abubakar Musa Usman to Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti; Justice Salihu Aisha Yunusa to Damaturu, Yobe; Justice Ikpeme Joy Bassey to Uyo, Akwa Ibom; Justice Shehu Umaru Adamu to Maiduguri, Borno; Justice Mohammed Ibrahim Buba to Dutse, Jigawa; Justice Binjin-Eigegbe Nendelmum Judith to Lokoja, Kogi; and Justices Usoro Kuyik Uduak and Nwoye Osinachi Donatus to Lagos division.

The appointments aim to cope with high case volumes expected from the 2027 general elections. New judges will be attached to senior judges for practical experience.
