The Federal Government has launched the iDICE Skills-to-Jobs initiative, a nationwide programme targeting 300,000 Nigerians aged 15-35 for free training and job placement in the digital and creative economy. The programme runs simultaneously across all six geopolitical zones, with six implementing partners—one per zone—providing basic, intermediate, and advanced tracks that combine online learning with physical sessions.

Aiming for an 80% employment linkage rate, the initiative expects to secure jobs for at least 240,000 participants upon completion. Inclusion is mandatory: at least 40% of beneficiaries will be female, and no less than 5% will be persons living with disabilities or young people not in education, employment, or training (NEET).

Applications are open now at idice.ng/skills-training-to-jobs. The initiative forms part of the larger $617.7 million Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) Programme, co-financed by the African Development Bank, Agence Française de Développement, Islamic Development Bank, and the Bank of Industry, which also serves as executing agency.
