Figo reveals EPL club he wanted to join

Former Portugal international Luis Figo revealed he wanted to join an English Premier League club during his Real Madrid exit. Speaking on The Obi One Podcast, Figo explained he joined Inter Milan instead because the Premier League club took too long to finalize his transfer. He admitted the Serie A move was the right decision after feeling strong emotions during his meeting with Inter's president. When asked by Chelsea legend John Obi Mikel, Figo suggested it was Liverpool he was negotiating with, noting manager Rafael Benitez was involved at the time. The transfer delay reportedly influenced his choice to join Inter Milan.
