Nigerian filling stations have reduced petrol prices following Dangote Refinery's N25 per liter price cut over the weekend. Market surveys show Sunset Energy and Emedab in Abuja adjusted prices to N1,345 and N1,360 per liter respectively, down from previous rates. However, several major outlets including NNPC, Ranoil, AA Rano, NIPCO, and MRS still maintain prices between N1,350 and N1,370 per liter as of Monday. Automotive gas oil remains unchanged at N1,900-N2,000+ per liter across most stations. IPMAN president confirmed more reductions will come Tuesday as marketers receive new stock from the refinery. With fuel now under N1,400 in some locations, this could ease transportation costs for commuters and businesses. Will you fill up at these reduced prices, or wait for more widespread cuts before refueling?
