Fireboy DML unveils 13-track ZUKO! album tracklist, set for Oct 16 release
Fireboy DML has revealed the tracklist for his fifth studio album, ZUKO!, scheduled for release on Friday, October 16, 2026, via YBNL Nation and EMPIRE. The 13-track project features collaborations with Nigerian artistes Lojay and Judah Earl, Jamaican dancehall singer Masicka, and South African-linked acts JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela. Two singles have already dropped: “CLAAT!” with Masicka, highlighting dancehall influences, and “IMALI” with JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela, drawing on Southern African Amapiano and 3-step sounds, the latter having entered the Official Nigeria Top 100 chart. The album’s title references Prince Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender, symbolizing themes of exile, identity, self-discovery, and redemption, reinforced by Fireboy’s red-themed promotional visuals and YouTube series THE RED COUCH SESSION: ZUKO!. Building on his 2024 album Adedamola, which explored personal material with Jon Batiste and Seun Kuti, ZUKO! expands his sound across Afrobeats, dancehall, and Southern African influences. The tracklist includes: “DEAR FATHER” (feat. Judah Earl), “BY FIRE!”, “CLAAT!” (feat. Masicka), “GODDESS” (feat. Lojay), “C’EST LA VIE”, “IMALI” (feat. JAZZWRLD & Thukuthela), “ONE MAN REGIMENT”, “KILOWI”, “ONAZO!”, “S.L.U.T (SEX LOVE UNDERSTANDING TRUST)”, “LIGHT OF DAWN”, “MIMI NAWE”, and “FIGHTING”. Registration for the album is not required; it will be available on major streaming platforms upon release. Will you stream ZUKO! to experience Fireboy’s evolving sound, or wait for reviews before adding it to your playlist?
