Flick urges focus after Barcelona's 4-1 win over Galatasaray
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick told his players to stay grounded after a 4-1 Champions League victory against Galatasaray at Rams Park on Tuesday, October 12, 2026. Goals from João Cancelo, Fermín López, Anthony Gordon, and Karim Adeyemi secured the win for the Blaugrana in Istanbul.
Flick praised the team’s performance in a hostile away atmosphere but warned that the season’s title will be decided only at the campaign’s end, stressing the need for continued hard work and humility. He noted that despite the victory, the squad must keep improving and avoid complacency.
The result keeps Barcelona in contention in the Champions League group stage and boosts morale ahead of their LaLiga clash with Real Betis this Saturday. For Nigerian fans following European football, the win highlights the form of players like Adeyemi, who has Nigerian heritage, and shows how Barcelona’s attacking depth remains strong.
Will Barcelona maintain this intensity in La Liga, or will the upcoming Betis match reveal whether they can translate European success into domestic consistency?
