Former Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley has named Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola as the best candidate for Manchester United's permanent coaching job, ahead of current interim manager Michael Carrick. Burley made the comments in an ESPN FC interview, suggesting United should consider Iraola if big-name managers aren't available in the summer transfer window. Carrick has been serving as interim manager since United fired Ruben Amorim in January. "Just because Michael Carrick has done a great job at United doesn't make him the best man for the job," Burley stated. The former Chelsea player emphasized that Iraola has already "announced his name" at Bournemouth through his performance. This opinion comes as Manchester United continues to search for a permanent manager to lead the club forward after Amorim's dismissal. The Red Devils will likely make a decision in the summer when more potential candidates become available. The managerial change at one of England's biggest clubs could significantly impact the team's performance and transfer strategy in the upcoming season.
