Four killed in Abuja road accident after Sallah celebration

Four people, including three men and one woman, have died following a fatal road accident that occurred Saturday at 6:00 p.m. in Abuja's Central Business District. The victims were returning from Sallah festivities when the crash happened, causing a major traffic gridlock along the affected route.

Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) rescue team from the City Gate Unit responded promptly to the incident and successfully evacuated the victims. The remains of the deceased were taken to the National Hospital, Abuja.

The FRSC confirmed the fatalities but investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing. Traffic management authorities were deployed to clear the gridlock while emergency services secured the accident scene.
