France and Sweden have pushed back against the US tariff threat over their opposition to taking over Greenland. French President Emmanuel Macron and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson insisted they won't be intimidated or blackmailed. The US recently imposed a 10% tariff on eight European countries, including Sweden, for opposing the proposed annexation of Greenland. Macron said France's foreign policy is guided by respect for international law and the UN Charter, while Kristersson described the US move as blackmail. Both leaders vowed to respond in a united and coordinated manner if the measures are confirmed. Will the EU's united stance deter the US from pursuing its claim on Greenland?
