He was reacting to a poster in public space which alleged that he was part of a planned political arrangement on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The poster claimed that Ehie was aligned with former Director-General of NIMASA, Dakuku Peterside, in a bid to “free Rivers from the hands of one man.” He described the narrative as “mischievous and desperate,” insisting that it was a calculated attempt to mislead the public and create division within the state’s political space. The former lawmaker urged residents to disregard the poster and remain focused on the collective progress of the state, reiterating that his allegiance remains with the APC and the leadership of Governor Fubara.
