FUTA Management Proscribes "Faith Heroic Group" and NEOLIFE Activities
The management of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) has issued an immediate ban on the activities of the Faith Heroic Group (FHG) and NEOLIFE within the university community.
In an internal memo signed by the Registrar, Mr. C.O. Adeleye, the university cited serious concerns regarding the group's operations.
Reasons for the Ban:
- Disruption: The group's activities were found to cause "serious discomfort, fear, unnecessary tension, and unwarranted pressure," undermining the academic atmosphere.
- Illegitimacy: The group is not registered with the university, and its recruitment methods were deemed "not in the best interest of students".
Official Directive: All activities of FHG and NEOLIFE are proscribed with immediate effect. Students are directed to refrain from any involvement with these groups on campus. The management warned that failure to comply will attract "serious penalty" in line with university regulations.
