Gehgeh criticises Mavo for revealing Shallipopi’s financial struggles, labels it betrayal

The controversy stems from an alleged private conversation between Mavo and Shallipopi. Gehgeh warned that exposing another person’s financial struggles could damage trust within a friendship or brotherhood, and advised men against sharing financial difficulties with people they may not fully trust, noting that private conversations could eventually become public.
He also appealed to Shallipopi to forgive Mavo, claiming that the singer had played a role in Mavo’s rise in the music industry, stating, “Shallipopi forgive Mavo; he doesn’t know it’s with your music pattern that he blew up.” The incident highlights ongoing concerns about privacy and loyalty among public figures in Nigeria’s entertainment scene.
