GehGeh dares VDM to target Tinubu, Wike, APC instead of him

Social media personality GehGeh fired back at activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) today after VDM allegedly threatened to "bring him down." Speaking in a video response, GehGeh challenged VDM to direct his influence at President Tinubu, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, and the APC instead, arguing that holding political leaders accountable would benefit Nigeria more than targeting a financial adviser.

GehGeh said his role is offering financial advice which people can accept or reject, and that VDM has no power to ruin him unless he's done something wrong. He added he could equally use his platform against VDM if the activist engages in wrongdoing.

The clash follows VDM's recent public confrontations with other figures including Pastor David Ibiyeomie. VDM has built a following by calling out perceived misconduct, but GehGeh's retort raises the question: should social media activism focus on celebrities or the political class?
